Hiring Procedure
The Credit Union accepts applications for available positions and will endeavor to consider all qualified applicants. However, when an available position attracts in excess of 100 applicants for employment, the Credit Union will only consider the first 100 applications received. The Credit Union may decline review of the remaining applications.
The Credit Union conducts interviews in a two or three phase process. The interviews are conducted by the Human Resource Assistant and/or Human Resource Manager, Branch/Department Manager, and possibly the Vice President and/or President.
After the interview process is complete, we may obtain a reference and bond ability check. The Credit Union only hires applicants with positive reports in all areas unless approved otherwise by the Credit Union President.
Upon offering a position to the suitable applicant, the applicant has 24 hours to respond to the offer. The employment offer will become null and void after 24 hours in the absence of acceptance. Response must be made to the Credit Union official who made the offer or their assignee in their absence.
The time frame to process and hire an applicant is approximately one week. Applicants who have not been contacted by the Credit Union for an interview seven business days after completing their application are no longer being considered for employment. All applications are kept on file for 90 days and are reviewed periodically as employment positions become available.
